Our Nursery
Our nursery includes a sessional pre-school for those aged between 2 - 5 years. The offer is:
- Term time only
- 9:15 - 12:15 sessions
- 9:00-12:00 session in our Toddler Room
- Funded Children * Free *
- Non-funded £16.50 per session
- Key Worker System
- Activities centred around 'Play'
- Qualified Friendly Staff
- Ofsted Inspected
We accept:
2 year funding
15 hour funding for all 3 year old
30 hours funding

Baby Room:
6 months - 2 years
Toddler Room:
2 - 3 years
Pre-School Room: 3 - School Age
Breakfast and After-school club:
4 - 11 years of age
Holiday Club: 5 - 11 years

- Seeing number labels
- Counting cups & plates at snack time
- Number Rhymes
- Measures with sand & water activities
- Knowledge & understanding of the World
We enjoy:
- Experiments relating to cause & effect & changes in state for example ice and water
- They learn about and participate in a variety of Multi cultural celebrations
- Healthy eating activities and baking!
- Caring for the African Land snails and learning about life cycles
Physical Activities
- Children are encouraged to play/climb outdoors with a large range of equipment on a play-safe surface. This promotes a sense of space and health and body awareness and uses gross motor skills.
- Small motor development is covered using a large range of equipment e.g. scissors, writing implements, staplers, hole punch, threading beads and cotton reels.
Creative
- Chalk
- Gluing and sticking
- Painting
- Playdough
- Sand and water play
- Gloop and shaving foam play
- Cereal play
Children and staff alike enjoy playing 'mucky pups'. Aprons are provided to protect clothing.
Children's imaginations are fired through music and movement, exploring different sounds and by the playing and making of musical instruments.
Large and small projects are used to allow children to collaborate and share ideas
